The Regional Pacific NDC Hub will be hosting a training on International Carbon Market under article 6 of the Paris Agreement from May 30-31, 2023 for the Pacific NDC Hub focal points and invited guests.
The two-day training that encapsulates the need for effective climate action and mitigating the impact thereof, aims to bring understanding to the carbon market mechanisms relating to country needs and priorities, building capacities and knowledge sharing on how to utilize carbon pricing instruments and also understanding its challenges.
The training facilitated through the NDC Hub’s Implementing Partner Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) will raise awareness and understanding on how carbon pricing could be an effective instrument in addressing ambitions under the Paris Agreement.
