Summary of Activity:

The NDC Hub will be supporting the Solomon Islands on a preparatory phase for developing its Low Emission Development Strategy (LEDS). This preparatory phase of work will position the Solomon Islands to develop a full LEDS which will provide guidance and direction to the country as its blueprint for transitioning to a low emission and climate resilient nation.

Building on the firm foundation of this preparatory phase, the Solomon Islands will also be on track to achieving its NDC targets through implementing the long-term mitigation actions in the priority sectors when its full LEDS may be developed.
